The state take over of Belle Isle in Detroit takes place tonight …. with SECURITY. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhh.

Welp, thats it for the good times of my favorite hoon destination, not to mention many other Detroit living car guys. Its been a glorious 3 & 1/2 years baybey … I'll always remember the good times.

BRB …. going to go cry.

I hooned there a long time ago. Red and white curbs just bring out the hoon in a person.

Detroit is broke and apparently it costs them 6 million a year …. to run an abandoned island …. right. Well someone was making some money off that for a while, but now they gave it to the state who will be turning it into a state park patrolled by DNR.

I saw one of these out there a couple weeks ago when they where cutting down trees. I think at some point I'll go 'test the water' and see how many of them are around now.

Sadly they are going to tear it down. I read through their plan today …. so many things are going to be changed for the worse IMO.
